Frequently Asked Questions
What if I am allergic?
Knowing is half the battle! Just be sure to take an antihistamine before you come.
What if I am scared or don't like horses?
No worries! If you aren't being pushed out of your comfort zone, you aren't learning. This is an opportunity to overcome fears or preconceived notions. Some of the people who have attended our workshops have started out petrified, but by the end of the program, they all have learned more about themselves and they have overcome their fears. We have both horses and ponies, and will use our small ponies for those with great fear for horses. Our ponies are only around 400 lbs and so sweet, gentle, and adorable, you will forget they are small-horses!
Still have questions? Reach out, we would be happy to answer them for you!

AN EDUCATION THEY’LL NEVER FORGET.
Prepare your children to take on the challenges life throws at them! The value of using horses as a teaching tool to learn new skills have been proven time and time again in the teaching of young people and especially teenagers. The use of an equine assisted learning program is a unique way to teach young people who are fortunate to participate in our programs.
By interacting with our horses, our clients will learn how to take empowered action, try new behaviors and connect with their passionate selves. Horses respond to our authentic selves. As horses live in the moment, they are always honest and they cannot judge! This is why they are the best teachers! They work hard to push us to a new level where we can feel confident and competent in ourselves and in our abilities.
Horses don't care about our clothes, our weight, our spiritual, our political beliefs, or where we’ve come from. They just care about helping us to be the best version of US that we can be.

Team Building Programs
Your organization is unique, shouldn't your events be too?
Why Choose Experiential Training?
At Equine Connection, every experiential training session ensures effective skill development that is fun and memorable. Experiential learning has been termed "the natural way of learning,” and is defined as the process by which the experience of the learner is reflected upon, from which new insights emerge.
- Fun and Hands-On - Your learning experience is not just in that moment, but paralleled back to everyday life at the office. With experiential learning, all senses and learning styles are stimulated to allow this transfer of learning.
- Collaborative vs. Competitive - Many team events are based on competition, but don’t you want your teams to work TOGETHER like a well oiled machine! You don’t have to like every member of your team, but if you can COMMUNICATE and understand how to effectively communicate with one another, your team can be unstoppable.
- Irrefutable Results - A day that is fun and provides strong skills for your team? Get outta here! It’s true! All programs are bespoke to your team to ensure you are getting the results that you want and need! Improve camaraderie, trust and enforce your company vision to get you to where your company wants to be.
